Love Dr Kelly. She is very honest in a loving way as she cares about your pet and you. She gives the options, will tell you truthfully if she believes pet in pain or not and she doesn't run up a bunch of test to charge more money. Does tests if needed but she helps find the balance of love your pet, costs, quality of pets life etc. She helps me take great care of my babies and as 1 is getting a lot older Dr Kelly is doing well with helping me make a wise choice for when I need to make that difficult decision
Had planned to switch to Basehor Veterinary Clinic once my very old Aussies were gone, but when Dr. Kaiser moved to Basehor Veterinary, it sealed the deal that we would be moving sooner! He's always been so wonderful to us and our dogs. He has a soft spot for the "old stock dogs" and I can't imagine having anyone else help us send our 15 yr old senile, blind and deaf guy to the Rainbow Bridge. I appreciate the breadth of options I had in choosing a treatment for my 14 yr old's arthritis. Never felt that he was pushing me to the most expensive treatment, instead, suggested a very reasonable option as the option to try first. That option is working incredibly well and she's keeping up with our 5 month old puppy. Dr. Lightfoot has been amazing in the treatment of our new baby. She's always available to answer questions and I trust both of them as much as I would trust my own favorite doctor! I have 5 choices for veterinary care within 5 miles of my house, but I drive 5 times as far for the wonderful care my dogs receive at Basehor Veterinary Clinic. Basehor is fortunate to have such a wonderful clinic!
